The world is going through a difficult time. Most of us are obeying the “Stay Home” regulation, working from home or not working at all. In this challenging time the children rely on us for meals, we have to provide, we will provide. With Covid-19 being a national crisis, schools had to close, this means that the school feeding scheme will not be available to provide them meals. We sat down and came up with a brilliant idea of enlarging the garden. Besides, why not use this tough time to enlarge our vegetable garden? This will help us manage to cater to as many orphaned children as we can. The meals they receive at school everyday is often their only food of the day. None of them should feel like nobody care about them. We promised to love, nurture and take care of them. That is what we are going to do. The fields have been ploughed up, health-care providers have approved the area as good for planting. To stay protected and ensure that no child gets exposed to Covid-19. Better safe than sorry, no travelling to buy vegetables for soup, home-grown vegetables all the way.
